I'm starting to learn how to trouble shoot the inop jake brakes on my MC-5C.  I was hoping that someone who knows would tell me where to find the activation solenoids on the cylinder heads, the fuel rack switch, and the clutch switch (it's a spicer 4 speed).

Now I know it's pretty obvious that the activation solenoids are near the injectors on top of the head, and ditto the rack switch,  but since I have no idea what they physically look like, I'm a little lost.  I figure the clutch switch is on the mechanism under the floor boards somewhere at the front.  Any better clues than that, I'm all ears!

Thanks, Brian

The solenoids are under the valve covers on the Jake's over the exhaust valves 2 on each side with a jumper tube between the Jake's to supply oil to the other 2 on each head for 8v engine about 1 inch around with a wire to each.
The buffer switch you refer to as a fuel rack switch is mounted on the outside of the engine at the governor looking from the back of the bus at the front of the engine it is on the left side of the governor housing as for the clutch switch you are on your own there. FWIW you need to be careful trying to adjust the buffer switch or it will cost you an engine from a runaway     good luck
