For a weekend away (or more) on Vancouver Island, BC
Living Forest oceanside Park and Campground

Cawston, British Columbia

Just north of Crescent City, California.  Ramblin Rose RV park.  Huge trees, quiet, full hookups, cable tv, cell phone even works, and easy to get into right of Hwy 1.  There is a mix of full time campers but real well kept. There's the redwoods, the ocean, and you are only 20 miles from the Oregon border.

Rouge River RV park, Oregon state park.  Right on I-5 just south of Grants Pass.  Huge sites, full hookups, walk to the river.  A great base camp for the area.  We will stop there every time we are in the area.

Our favorite is Turtle Creek in Homosassa Fl.  Lots of shade, things to do, shopping close by, reasonable winter rates. Nice people, [ mostly yankies]    Duane

Stone Mountain Park, Georgia

Our kids love it!

Resort prices in camp ground, but very nice.

Climb stone mountain, Theme park, train ride around mountain, skylift up to mountain, museum, laser show on side of mountain, water taxi from campground, golf, Old plantation, car museum, gooney golf, water park, lots of other stuff.

You will  never have to leave the park, and be busy all weekend.

Note: campground will credit you park entry fee on campround site fee, but you must ask,
