Thanks guy's for the thoughts. Bg I had not thought about SLC may have to look into that some more,
Hightech and Uncle Ned I have given a lot of thought to Tennessee with all the shipping on the Mississippi
the tugs would be a great source of income, however till the post this morning I did not think BK would let me move over to his state. lol Ned if we move under the tree you think Bryce would know he's on the road so much we may not see him for a month or more. Grant, Reno's out sorry.  John4104 I have given a lot thought to Houston TX several times as there are a lot of boats down there and that puts me close to LA and the gulf. luvrbus and I have talked about this some, he has a building with some property down there, but it takes me to far from home at this time, may be in the not so distance future. Mr Hobie and oldmansax I have been reading and hearing on the radio about the things going on in both NY state and MD, You guys have it as bad as we do.

We have lost some where between 55,000 and 58,000 jobs this year and the state has hired 3,000 and 2,600 of them were new positions. Go figure

LV will probably be where I go for now it's only a 4.5 to 5 hour drive and my wife will come over there to see me every now and then.  lol

Thanks again

Don

Not to mention the Utah ag crowd and a large number of retirees with big RVs or coaches.

Busted Knuckle

Don you are welcome at our place anytime! Also not only do we have the Mississippi but the Cumberland, Tennessee, and Ohio rivers in our area too that have huge amounts of towboats pushing barges up and down them every day! The Oak tree spot technically doesn't actually belong to the state either. They left the land lord a 100' strip all the way down that property line and 3 acres down on the back side that includes the pond! (He can still park his Firebird in it and not get fined, since he owns it! LOL!)

If you can stand the heat of Bakersfield then Marana AZ is the place to be. It is hillbilly heaven with trailers, junk cars everywhere, and lots of land where nobody gives a hoot what you do on it. There must be at least one junk appliance kept on the front porch.

Be warned there is a vehicle code:

1.) Minimum required whiskey dents of 30 on every vehicle.

2.) Only one operational headlight allowed, exception is if you have two one must be on bomber watch and the other on submarine duty.

3.) Exhaust systems must have a minimum of one hole forward of muffler, exception is if it drags causing sparks at night it's OK.

4.) If windshield is duct taped then 1,2,3, are not required.

5.) Tail light lenses optional but only if bulbs are burned out.

6.) Hoods optional, fenders not required, floorboards optional.
