Only been to the Koa on the East side of the city. I would say that I have seen better, but its allright if you are just passing through. It may have changed  a bit,as this was 2007.

On the road to Indianapolis Raceway Park ( not the 500 track) is a American Legion or VFW type RV Park. Was going to try to camp at race way park, Stop to pick up some liquid refreshments on the road to Race Way Park and they told us about the camp ground. This is in Clermont on Rout 136 just west of Speedway, IN. They had room on the 500 week end at the last minute.

Are you coming in for the 500 mile race this weekend!  You can camp in the COKE lot across from the track on Georgetown

    Rd.

Steve,

No we are not returning from the 500. But last sunday Tami and I were on turn # 1 for the time trials. Give me short track racing anyday, seeing those buildings inside the track and only seeing the cars when they go by your seat not good. Better on the TV. We are now back in the Houston area. Plan to be back in Indi and Kentucky in June.

Thanks
