6kw Diesel Gen Set or greater NEEDED!

Hey All, I am searching for a 6000 watt or greater Diesel generator.
Preferably Onan, Lister, or a comprable brand.
If you have one for sale or know where I can get one at a reasonable Price under $2500 that would be much appreciated
Application is to run two 13.5kw carrier rooftop ac units

I find Craigslist a good place to find Onans. You should be able to find one for around $500 if you try.

If going Diesel-highly recommend either an older Powertech or Wrico generator with relay controls.  Onan and Kohler are complicated with electronic controls that they make.  So when they go out, you have to buy their expensive control boards.  And they do go out-so much so they usually carry rebuilt boards in stock-not a good sign.  Good Luck, TomC
