I looked at that unit last weekend, it is new, but I allready had one, it is at Northwest Surplus RV , did my yearly shopping trip there.  With Monaco and Country Coach doing bad, I am going to watch Northwest for a lot of goodies he should be getting.  Give them a call on it, they are nice people.

Ray,

You can dicker with NWRV SUR.  If you will drop $3 to 5K he will discount your purchase by 50% or more.  That is a LOT OF STUFF.  He ain't cheap though by a long shot.  Try Ind. also as the price vari may pay for the gas/fuel.

Gumpy,

Don't these things burn .8 gallons per hour?  That is some spendy heat.  Maybe if you are a rock star.

I don't know about the AquaHot, but my 45,000 BTU ProHeat is rated by the manufacturer at .3 GPH of boiler run time.  If the boiler runs 50% of the time that is .15 GPH.  Of course there are many varibles that will determine boiler run time.  Jack

Aqua Hot uses the Webasto 45,000 BTU unit .45 gal per hour but will tell you they use 4 to 5 gals per day under normal use and they post that on their web site.Davenport has the Hurricane unit in his bus that uses the Pro Heat 45,000 BTU unit and it uses about the same amount of fuel plus the generator time to keep the batteries charged for the heat exchangers they use fuel. Davenport has kept records this year with his Flo Scans on both units and is going to send me the results for a winters use on fuel at the ski areas and I will pass them on to you guys  Good luck

Dang.  Missed this one by less than 30 minutes.  I have a Proheat yet to install, but I would rather have one of these, especially at that kind of price.
