Classic - 1987 VT1100 Shadow w/Jardine exhaust  (Ride it hard / put it away wet / works EVERY time)

unlike my

Bi-Centenial 1976 Harley IronHead (ride it 2 hours / fix it 1 hour)  - Damn AMF @ssholes shouldn't have been allowed to build a motorcycle
Thank God that Willy's back
If you ain't part of the solution, then you're part of the problem.

nice looking bikes, all I can say is that our part of the parking lot will be the nicest one at the nursing home lol.

Actually this bike is an 02 Honda with a 750, stock pipes, Gauranci seat, Kyrakin (sp) grips on broomstick bars! It is flake red paint. Also has a hyperharger and side mounted tail light/tag. As it is now, its a rigid frame but hoping to change that to have SOME dampening. I MIGHT have to change the seat so my girl can ride! Maybe not too!

This is my 1100 Shadow that I spent a lot of time altering. Seeger Cycle uses it in their ad. Check out the stainless exhaust. I have built 5 of them now, mostly for show bikes.

And then the trike I built. This project took me a couple years!

Honda ST1100. Great touring bike.

Harley Sportster 1200. Great for around town, and bar hopper. Towing with the bus.

I have a spare DD4-71. I fantasise about building a trike out of it one of these winters. Wouldn't that be awesome!

 ;) Hmmmm,

All these bikes are great, but.....

They are all gasoline powered, which according to many amongst our membership is heresy!.

They only want to carry one type of fuel on board, no propane, no CNG, no firewood, no gasoline!

So in that spirit I give you:

I got a HD 2001 Classic and the wife has a HD 2001 FXDL. They are both setup for touring. In 2001 we rode from Vancouver, BC to Keywest and back.

My Shadow is a 94,  RTS/Daytona. Basically the same bike as you have. It sure has been dependable and one of my all time favorite bikes. Plans are to bus and trailer the trike from here in Nebraska to Daytona for next years bike weeks. I still don't trust the trike like I do the Shadow. I've had an electric fuel pump and a MSD rotor leave me stranded so far with the trike. All new parts. I may do some checking with you about stuff there in Daytona as far as bus camping but initial plans are to stay closer to Orlando according to the women involved!! We'll see.  ;) I'm about 450 miles from Sturgis and go there from time to time. If you ever get the urge......Later

Nice bikes..We are looking into getting / building a trike once the conversion is done...well wait..When its done enough for us to spend a little time on something else !

The vote is in. It seems folks with MCI 7's, 8's, and 9's are into trikes. Some pretty sharp bikes indeed that fellow busnuts have. When I'm riding one up I still would rather ride the chopper but when the wife is along it's the trike. It's a more comfortable ride for her. I'm planning into the future with the trailer I'm redoing to pull behind the bus. I'll be able to haul 2 bikes and the trike plus sleep in it if need be. I just want to have all this done while I still can. Hopefully down the road I can load up and head for warmer winters with whatever I choose to ride in tow.  ;D Two things that give me a sense of freedom. My bikes and the bus!  But I sure have gotten old enough to not really care much for the tent strapped on the bike anymore. I've paid my dues. What better way to go than in luxury!!!  ;)Later
