I was at the Phoenix International Raceway today with my wife and two boys and my Sunbeam Alpine. We joined other Sunbeam owners in the pits. I came across a racer that goes to the track in real style. He tows his race car trailer with his Flxible (Clipper I believe). The neat thing about this bus is the engine transplant, a new 6V-92 turbo with a rear end and auto from I think a MC-9. The bus was completely reskin-ed with new old stock stainless side skins. It was beautiful. He says the bus will do 120 mph but he has only had it to 100 mph. Some how I believe him. I apologize for not having more pictures but my camera ran out of memory. I knew I was in for treat when the engine door went up by itself with a whooooosh of the gas cartridges. ;D

Airbag,
Sorry had to look right by that great looking flxible. I used to own ( bought and restored ) a 65 sunbeam tiger. Restored another for a customer. If I only had keep it, what they are worth now. I probably would be dead. I had a real 289/271 High performance worked over who knows the actual Hp.
Oh well great pictures.
Thanks ED

I am pretty sure this is the bus featured on Jay Leno's garage.  I hope it gets used and not just brought out for car shows.
