Yes he is going Pa. And No, I will not start on our story, since I don't want to badmouth anybody contrary to the rules of this BB. I will however PM anybody who is seriously looking at getting work done at his place. Simply because I wouldn't want anybody else to get burned by him.

now can someone please explain to me how this thread is not an attack on Sam Walker and his business. Seems pretty clear to my by John316's first post.

I do not know Sam Walker or anything about his business...but this is clearly one individual laying it out there and is detrimental to his business

There can be a fine line between bad mouthing and providing important information!! I do not see where John has crossed that line. It is often recommended on this board to check with the local BBB befor doing business with anyone not recommended here. Jim

Yup Jim. Clearly I haven't badmouthed Sam Walker publicly here. (I sure could though.)

I think that even if I stated my facts, then it still wouldn't be badmouthing him, just stating facts. But still I won't do it publicly. And I won't share it with anybody that isn't serious about using him.

I sure want to warn people, though, before they use Sam Walker.

Gmpd4104, I would sure hate to see you, or any other bus nut, get burned. I don't think that warning others about danger is badmouthing.

Sorry guys. I just tried clicking the link that I had saved (I should have done it before) it looks like the story disappeared.

If you guys needed more validation try going to http://www.Grigsby.us and then contacting the guy from there. I think that he was told to remove the story from his site, or he just decided it was time to move on. My story is pale in comparison to this guys story.

Well, for those who are new here and might prefer to voice opinions rather than listen to advice, maybe I can clarify.
You are correct in that character attacks are not allowed on the board. However, facts are allowed, so let's just post the facts.

Sam Walker was convicted of fraud in PA for defrauding several individuals out of hundreds of thousands of dollars relating to bus conversion work that he promised,
accepted payment for, and never delivered.

I'm not aware of any individual on this or any other bus board who will recommend him.

And so you are now up to speed on the facts. If the facts are detrimental to his business, so be it.

If you recall - His last "business" wasn't even a business - no license, etc. - might want to check and see IF he has one this time - FWIW

I am new here and thought this thread was some sort of attack. In my mind if someone is convicted for a crime and is now back in business people should know before they get duped. If this business is now on the up and up then they will have to prove themselves. Buyer beware.
