Someone told me there were $49 flights from MSP to FL. Not sure which airline. Maybe Sun Country. Pack a bag, hop a flight to Orlando or Tampa. Rent a car
and go see the rally. Someone there will probably have an extra bed or couch you can crash on for a couple nights.

I didn't find any $49 flights, at least not at the last minute.  Sun Country has some of the highest prices for the dates I choose although they often have the best last minute fares.

There is a good chance I would have driven down there in the bus had I thought about it yesterday (Saturday).  More expensive, but I would have the bus there.

Brian you are just NOW giving it a thought about this rally? You should have done this months, not days ago! Although it appears the bus count is down, it will still be a great rally and fun by those that ARE here! More buses are scheduled to arrive Monday (opening day) and the rally festivities will begin early at 7:30 am.
All I can say is, I've been here since Friday and I've had a great time so far! Next year, try planning in advance rather than make excuses with weather. Some arrived looking like they drove thru pure hell to get here but once here, a chance to clean it up in the 80 degree day temps!
Your loss... :)

Libby has been watching me look at the pictures and read the posts, I think she is starting to think I'd like to be there too, she asked me how my cardiac rehab is going and did the docs say anything, questions like that, I told her that I'm thinking that maybe they even have doctors in florida, at least I just don't see too many cars with florida plates at the hospital up here.  I know it's too late for me to get there this year but I'm still faithfully following my routine and the bus is still here in the yard feeling neglected, I'll get back on the road as soon as I can, so don't soak up all the florida sunshine, leave some for me.  Maybe we can get together at the MACC this year in july, columbus ohio isn't all that far away from a bunch of you guys and a bluegrass festival is always a good thing.

Months ago I didn't think there was any way I could make it.  I pretty much forgot all about it until folks started posting in the last few days.

Here's a panorama from about 10 minutes ago (3:00 PM Monday)

And we found a carwash so we're no longer the filthy Prevost by the entrance - we're just the old grey Prevost by the entrance now.
