How big a heater do I need for my bus to keep warm this winter?(pic)

After reading belferts topic about how challenging it is to own a bus in MN, I thought I post a pic of how I drove my bus home on Friday. My buddy needed to get some stuff into his shop so the bus had to move. I received quite a few puzzled looks as I was topping off the tanks in town. I have a cover on order, hopefully it will get here before the snow starts to pile up

I'm thinking that you may need a fair sized heater. maybe 2 lol, or one politian.  Perhaps if you weatherstripped around some of the openings it would help?

tarped tightly, 100 000 btu fan forced should keep up... maybe?

That drive would have been good for many double takes!

All structural work is done, I'm presently looking for a heated building so I can skin it.

Songman did the same thing a few weeks ago.  But I think you have him beat since he did it in the middle of summer, not with snow on the ground.  Must of been a brisk ride! Good Luck, TomC

It wasn't that bad, it was 40+ F here on Friday, the worst part was all the grinder/metal dust hitting me in the back of the head

I just lightened the photo above in Photoshop so I could see more of the detail and realised that you have actually built the 'box' of the slide out room, so as you say it is read for skinning. In the last installment of the project I had seen you were still building the basic operating mechanism for the slide into the floor of the bus, so I figured I must have missed an update - sure enough, having looked in your profile I see there is a post there that I hadn't seen, so lots more reading for me
