BK, this is not necessarily good news for tour bus companies in general, but it is an opportunity to promote your own maintenance policies and the capability you have versus some of the other guys.

safety is always an issue.  i found a stuck vavle on an inside rear dual that only had 40 lbs.  since it's a pain to check, i don't know how long it's been that way, but i hate to think i've been running 40 lbs on one dual with 22klbs on the axle based on the last scale we did.  even a g rated tire isn't enough.

easy to screw up.  i'm gonna be fixing a few items in the next 2 wks, like a light and all the tires filled up.
i don't want to be the next headline. even if there's only 2 of us and the dog.

With the price of fuel more and more people will be using commuter services and the more they are used the more we will see things like this.

Just a matter of statistics and we all know we don't want to be just another statistic so lets be safe.
