My 1997 prevost blower fans for the bus a/c run all the time and won't shut off..  I'm thinking it is the switch on the dash that has gone bad???  If the brushes in the fan motor are bad could they cause the fans to run all the time and not shut off??  Most of the time when there bad the fan won't run at all..  Any idea's??
Thanks Jamie

Jamie on a H 41 I bought it had similar problem and Prevost changed the switch and relays to stop it.I don't know if the relays needed changing or not but was told that's the reason the switch went bad

Unplug the dash switch - if fans go off, that is the culprit. If the fans stay on, you most likely have a problem with the relay contactors sticking, so I'd check that next.

You should still verify the dash switch is working properly too.

Good luck.

There is a whole boxt of electronics that run those things.  Probably a relay, they go bad but ususally wth the symptom that nothing works.  Prevost the dealer is generally very fast at diagnosing things like this.

Jamie, which blower fans are you talking about-condenser fan motors? or the one large evaporator motor on drivers side of coach?
