Bus Storage In Fl.

           What to  prepare  for in  storing the  bus  in fl , bugs, snakes and things.  I have  to deal with field mice here in northern Pa. I put moth balls around the tires and i guess it works a little but the little  buggers jump aboard in other areas. We now have property in S Venice so we can leave the bus there for  the winter  and attend  more  winter rallies. Any tricks for  the  southern buggers               Bill C

   We live near Arcadia (about 50 miles east of Venice).  We have never had any problem with mice or snakes and only an occasional spider in the bus and a few problems with ants.  When we converted our coach, we made sure all holes were sealed when we ran wires or plumbing through any floors (bay & bus). Make sure there is absolutely no open food to attract ants.
   Storing near Venice, you may get some salt on the bus when the condensation dries in the morning unless it is under cover.  Jack

        Hi Jack thanks for the info , i  will  now consider a roof cover for a summer project . I would like to make the  rally in Arcadia but we wont arrive till 3/9 late. I missed the last get together in Myakka City due to my generator problem , which still needs to be replaced. Thanks again      Bill C

Other than as Jack said about sealing up the holes, I would put a few bait stations for ants and roaches who may want to visit while you are gone.

It doesn't get cold enough to kill off those varmints over the winter in Venice....
