Brian, I hope to use your site as a way to convince my wife that 'steel tenting' is a good thing. She keeps saying she don't want us to use the bus until it is done.

The great thing about using it during the conversion phase is you find things you want to do differently and have the opportunity to do it without a lot of time and money and effort.  Also, it is MUCH better on the bus to get used than to sit around never getting any miles on it for a couple of years.  All kinds of things get rusty and break when you start to use the bus after sitting for a few years.

Just wanted to say thank you for sharing your project with us . Looks and sounds like a job well done and the pictures show some nice workmanship. Great Job

Everytime I see that picture of your jeep at the rest area 20 miles from the truck shop it makes my heart skip a beat. I should have have had you take my truck too! You're a brave guy, Brian for taking on this project. I'm very impressed and still am hoping to swing by sometime to see the workmanship in person.
Fred

Thanks Fred, I would have appreciated the offer.  In the end the Jeep did just great and you never had to listen to me "critique" the truck.!  ;D  ;D  ;D
