Thanks for the offer.  I like learning from non screamers.  The bad part is that by the time we are able to get to make the trip to Arcadia I will probably be too old to drive.  LOL

Naw CAT FL is where everybody goes to drive once they are old enough to retire from SSI! LOL! Opps I can't believe I just said that!

Funny thread! I'm just loving the stories.

After trucking for 15 years (a long time ago), my first trip bringing the bus home 2800 miles across Canada was uneventful by comparison. But we could not figure out why there was a dust storm every time we drove through an unpaved truck stop lot. It was so bad in one lot (Ignace, ON) that we thought the bus was on fire, stopped and ran for the door. We made a hasty departure before the "unwelcome wagon" got to us.

I've learned to shut off the MC-9 air conditioning first.
