I was waiting for one of them to tip over. It could have been nasty. Looks like there were a bunch of spectators close to that fence.

That TV programme isn't around anymore, but it was on for decades and was famous for occasionally 'inventing' silly sports to provide a bit of light relief between the usual rounds of football and cricket matches etc

It so happens that the elections for the new mayor of London are coming up soon, and all the candidates are explaing their manifestos etc - one of the leading contenders is pledging to get rid of all the 'bendy-buses' that are in London now and sponsor a design competition for a 'new' Routemaster - the Routemaster is the archetypal London double-decker bus, although the ones in that video were not Routemasters.

I'm not sure is this one is a Routemaster - if it is it is a very early one - but either way it is pretty cool (if you don't recognise it, it appeared in one of the Harry Potter films, but it is a genuine triple-decker, not just a bit of computer animation):

What people won't do to a bus.

I can remember many years ago on some TV show (remember "You Asked For It"), they showed London bus drivers training on a skid pad, doing donuts with double deckers.  Do they still do that kind of training?

Thank you.....that was GREAT!!    Yeah also.....I could never visit jolly old England because they drive on the WRONG side of the road and I am Left Handed and I am soosss sures I would just crash and burn and stuff.
