Joseph Campbell, who had long admired large trucks and busses as a child, eventually bought a 1992 Freightliner FLD-120 semi-truck after serving in the Army. He and his wife, Apple, later transformed a stainless-steel refrigerated trailer into a custom RV, creating a spacious, fully-equipped mobile home.

The conversion included features like a full-size washer and dryer, a model railroad setup, and various upgrades for comfort and functionality. The couple enjoys the freedom of traveling and working in their RV while sharing their story to inspire others interested in similar unconventional conversions.

They also discuss the growing trend of "tiny house" RV living and the challenges of fitting large RVs into older parks. Their rig, "Serendipity," is a testament to the flexibility and creativity possible in the RV lifestyle.
