I would not be looking at a 230 volt unit. This 9000 btu does a great job cooling and heating our bedroom and we can sleep with it on. Pulls around 5 amps. Since this in the bedroom, put the condenser on a lazy Susan for the best air flow. The bucket list has a 1200 unit for the main room.
