MC-9 Drivers side squirrel cage

Ready to tackle the drivers side squirrel cage.
Two questions.

What size socket does it take to remove the nut holding it on? I tried the largest I have and is seems to be too small.

Is it clockwise? Or counter clock wise to back that nut off?

Nuts are 1-1/2 right hand thread. Some are 1-3/8 inch,they will be the same size as the nut on the belt pulley. You need a impact wrench most of the time.
