You get very excited about your new ignition switch AND the new toilet all arriving on the same day!

That's worth getting excited about I think. Even better after they are installed. I hope you end up with a quarter inch or so clearance to the wall.

I saw it on the Internet. It MUST be true...

They do sell "offset" toilet bowl flanges if the fit doesn't work.
You seen to be starting a lot of sheet.
Sorry I couldn't resist...

Fits perfect with 1/2 inch clearance thanks to the measurements Jim took of his. We new (or hoped) it would fit. Jim's measurements were dead on.

Ignition switch was not the problem. A little blue wire that came off the spade fitting while I was taking the old ignition switch off (twice) was the culprit. That should have been a "dah ted" moment. New switch installed, still intermittent "engine won't start" issue. Engaged brain, pinched the blue wire end a bit with plyers so It was almost too hard to put back on the spade part. Aaaaall better.

An example of when we are sure we know what is wrong we get stupid about thinking it is something else. But like Bob Glines taught me, always start at the source. This time, the problem was an inch away from the source. I'm learning....

Anybody want a used ignition switch that still works?

Now for the toilet! I like things without electricity....
