Hello BCM Community.

I am in need of a trailer hitch for my 1982 MC9. I am leaving on a trip next month (March) and need this before I go. I am in the Tampa Bay area.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

Need you to state what you are going to pull/ haul to give us an idea of tongue weight. Also future plans for hauling, as large trailers and tongue weight call for much more elaborate hitches.

No "off the shelf" hitches are available for your MC-9, they must be custom fabricated.

Find a competent machine shop with a certified welder on staff, they'll fix you right up.

Do a Google Images search for "MCI Trailer Hitch" and you'll see lots of pics showing how it's done.

RJ,

I am looking for on that may no longer be needed or someone that may have one for sale. I have done many searches and need plans to give to my welder. The guy at bus parts is not being any help.

That site is well-known for taking your money and not producing what he promised.

Have you watched Yvan's video about his hitch fabrication? Share it with your welder?
