Good afternoon bus folk!

Any opinions out there on Fluidmatic MV Synthetic ATF?  For an Allison HT 748 trans.  Currently running Transynd but this looks compatible and a lot easier to get.  Don't want to do it if there are bad experiences out there tho'.  First thing the pec says under meets or exceeds is : Allison  -  TES 295:

You will find that same statement on Amsoil's Torque Drive ,, I have been running it for the last 5 years and it works well at holding temps lower than ATF did >>>Dan

If it says TES295, it should be good to use. I have Mobil Delvac 1 ATF in my Allison. Another one is Shell Spirax S6 ATF.

What type of John Deere dealer do you get your Syntran HD from?  My local John Deere dealer couldn't find Syntran HD in their system, but they are not an AG or construction dealer.  I looked at the list of Allison approved fluids and nothing was listed there for John Deere.

Well this has been hugely helpful.  Thanks to all who jumped in!  I tried the John Deere online / local but couldn't find.  But did have success w/ local Napa Truck for Mobile Delvac synthetic which says Allison Approved, TES 295, 468 on the front of the container.  Saves me a trip down the mountain.

Now back to those wonky air bags!
Kind Regards,  Phil
