OT: upcoming trip to SF Bay

Chuck, those nude beaches are hardly secret... there are at least two between Devil's Slide (Montarra) and HMB, and two more between HMB and Santa Cruz.  There's also one in SF city limits!

Well no, not secret, but hardly mentioned in the Chamber brochures. I've been to three of the the four you mention. GWC was my favourite.

Don't know if it's been mentioned but for kids with an inquisitive nature, the Exploratorium would be a must see. In the Presidio area. It's a fascinating place even for adults.

San Francisco seems to be quite the busnut destination.
We were just there a month ago, came up hwy 1 from pismo beach. Unfortunately that late in our vacation we only had time for a quick walk on the ggb and head home. We definitely want to head back and spend more time.
The reservations at hmb are a smart move, we tried to get in without any and they were full. Pelican Point rv park to the south had room but wouldn't let us stay after they saw we had a bus conversion. Ended up at a walmart, no being lulled to sleep by breakers there.
The trip thru the city to the bridge was crowded and tight but we didn't have any problems. There's plenty of parking at the Lone Sailor memorial on the north end of the bridge. btw

Seems like alot of interesting and valuable bus info was passed.  I good idea to plan ahead to be more efficient and a great use of this valuable resource.

hope there maybe some during and after post
