Chrome wheel update! Question?

Here is what Mario shared with me regarding the chrome rim splits. Back several years ago, chrome shops would break a factory weld to allow the chrome to get down in the split. After a few fatal accidents, the chrome shops stopped that practiced and told users that they could simply take and cover the spot with clear coat or some other product to reduce the chance of rust. Of course, us bus nuts would never let rust begin period.

So, that is my story and I am sticking with it!

I am getting ready to get the rims off and ready for pick up. I will keep you posted.
