I can hear the relay in the rear junction box clicking when I hit the start button but the starter isn't making any noise. Nothing happens. Batts are fully charged. Can someone explain if I'm
Missing something here:
And what's the deal with the wire that goes from

That little wire is what energizes the solenoid to carry the high current in the heavy wires to the starter. I would disconnect the large wire at the starter (so you don't get a surprise start) and troubleshoot the solenoid until you can hear a clicking of it - that's what it will take to carry current to the starter. You said you're hearing clicking in another area - that is the relay that should be carrying 12 volts @ low amps to the solenoid via the little wire you disconnected - if I understood what you said...

Thanks for that advice. I'm assuming the starter is 24volt? I bought a 24v replacement to replace my old one.

I'll have to troubleshoot this more. Can anyone post a clear wiring diagram for the starter?

If you still have the old starter check on the solenoid and see if it is marked 12v or 24v.
Used to own a 1968 MCI 5A and a 1977 5C.

!2 or 24 v either will engage the starter.the solenoid has 2 wires a ground the other will be marked "S" or "I" those should be hot when he trys to start the engine  could be the neutral switch, rear start,or fuel pressure are not wired correctly just jumper the S or I terminal to the hot battery cable it should spin if not you have a problem

Ok got it fixed... my signal wire to starter from coil was Bad. Ran a new one and all is well. Thanks for all
Your help and private messages. Coach is running like a champ. Have some small minor kinks I'm working out.

Went down the road about 300 feet and could feel vibration. Realized my driveshaft yokes are completely out of phase. So I have to get under and pull the slip yoke and turn it to get them in phase.

Oil pressure is right around 62 psi. 45-50 at idle.

I can taste it.

I know this isn't the one about throwing the belt, but I couldn't find it.
Could your engine mounts be letting the engine rock over and let the tension off the belt causing it to come off.  Being a little out of line and then not being tight could cause the problem.  If you ride in the car being pulled by the bus you might be able to see what is causing the problem.
Just a thought.
