Just realized that i made my first post around here with limited pics and damn near no info. How very rude of me. So, now for a proper intro. Not sure on a name yet but i'm thinking "the blue whale" Shes a 1989 MCI 96A3, from what i can sorta see at just the right angle on one of the
drivers side lower panels she operated in NY state for a bit. Then to a church thanks to an old receipt i found while cleaning out old paperwork. Then to a guy in indiana whom as far as i can tell did the conversion. Previous owner flew to indiana to take her home to CT about 900 miles after it had been off the road a couple years. He, or rather his wife... decided he wanted something a little smaller ultimately and sold it to me. I made the journey to CT and drove the beast home about 3 hours to massachusetts. I'm right up along the NH border and about a 20 min drive to the coast for anyone wondering. Drives very nice for the most part though there is a strange wobble in the steering that appears out of nowhere and wants to shake you to bits. Only at highway speed and with no seeming rhyme or reason. Needless to say i'll be pulling things apart in the front end before she leaves the yard again. Has a 6V92TA totally mechanical engine coupled to a 5 speed manual, odometer says 550K something but who knows. Starts well even cold but smokes and seems to run on 5 for about 20 seconds, then revs a little a couple times, clears and idles perfectly with not a trace of smoke. Need to mess with something as when you get on it hard up a hill i can detect a knock and white smoke. Not lugging it, keeping the rpm up, just seems like something is out of whack a bit. Not terribly worried since she starts so well, runs so clean at idle and on flats and holds super oil pressure. Not really planning on going anywhere in the immediate future anyway so i have time to investigate. Whomever did the conversion did a descent enough job but never quite finished. Has a 80 gallon fresh tank, electric hot water heater, 50 gallon gray tank and a black tank of unknown size. A pair of 5500W rv gen sets live in the front bay. Two Ac units on the roof, no heat as of yet. Led lighting throughout, limited 12v install, only lights, water pump and generator starters.  Floor is maple hardwood and walls and ceiling are pine. Needs some finishing trim, something done to the wall behind the kitchen counter and a lot of tracing of wires and mics bits.

coupe more pics. All the pieces for the barrel making that unusual sink are there so i'll turn them into a proper door.

Thanks, for all its issues it has enough interesting design choices to make it unique. Somewhere down the road i will figure out how to turn the loose barrel bits into a door and it will be a very interesting and functional sink base. First i need to address some metal deficiencies here and there on the body.
