The January 2020 issue of Bus Conversion Magazine is now available to view and/or download from our website.

•   The feature article this month is The Evergreen Bus by Daniel and Brooke Cook.  They converted a 1999 International AmTran School bus and were always avid travelers so they wanted a bus to make their travels more comfortable.

•   Have you ever been stranded in a snowstorm in a bus and had to set fire to the seat cushions to stay warm? Well, Percy Nance did it and was awarded the Driver-of-the-month for his heroic efforts.  After that, they installed emergency gas heaters in all of the buses his company owned so it would not happen again.

•   Want to learn more about the history of Scenicruisers and how they developed a 50-passenger bus plus baggage in 1945? This is also when they decided to put two engines in a bus.  This is an interesting read if you like the history of buses by Paul von Fange.

•   Do you have, or are you interested in the GM PD series of buses?  If so, you can read Jon Usle's article about these buses and how he tracks every PD bus ever made. These files are maintained on our Forum for all to see where each bus is currently located.
