So I made the extension cord. Works perfect. Welded up a bunch of stuff. Thanks guys for your advice on this.

As for towing stuff, we tow our extended length expedition behind the coach and the golf cart...we haven't towed it yet on a cross country tour. We are hoping to either get a car hauler trailer for the cart and truck or get a pickup truck (looking at some newer model F250's with the 6.7 powerstroke) and hauling the cart in the pickup. We will see what works out best for us. I don't have to cross the country until November or so.
