Eek! You are shutting down just as I'm about to cross the country in my bus. Just great. Murphy's law is going to bite me in the bum bum. I just know it.

This is still the greatest forum. I've been away for about two years, didn't realize it had been that long but the ole 4107 just wasn't giving me any problems so I neglected the forum.

Nice to be back.

Scary click-bait title!

Thanks for the staff here.  As I mentioned in a prior post, I've got tons of experience with SMF if a hand is ever needed.

May have missed it while working through 1.4k pages of history, but is there a post about the incoming changes to expect?

Phuriousgeorge,

It is nice to hear you have SMF experience.  If you would like to be involved please PM me or Phil as we may be able to use your expertise. We hired a SMF guy last week to help us make the transition (for Beer money  :D) but if you are willing to help after the transition we could probably use you.

As for the previous post regarding upgrading the forum it only said we were upgrading the forum and several folks gave us ideas.  We are not 100% sure what the upgrades are from the outdated software we have been using to the latest and greatest version.  We will find out what is available after we finish the upgrade hopefully in the next two weeks. You may know more about what we can take advantage of in the latest version more than I do as I have not taken time to research this yet.

One thing everyone wanted was the ability to upload larger photos which we will be able to do as we have more disk space than we had in the past and they also want something like a "Like" button which I am not sure is an option or not.  Perhaps you know.

Just like to add my thanks to all who make this forum possible.  Have not posted for a long time as we have 24 grandchildren and you can imagine the schedule at this end.  Buses have been sitting for a long time and now am just getting to the sit around chores and look at this form as a fantastic source of information.   The title was scary, but sure got our attention.  Bill Thomas 04 and 06.

Hope it is exactly the same with easier pic upload / draw feature...

Bells and whistles are annoying.

Thanks for the Current forum :)
