Tankless water heater

I have a chance to buy a Noritz 4.2 gpm tankless water heater (propane) for $300.00

1.Can I mount it in my engine compartment or the old ac condenser compartment and vent it out the side or back some way safely so I don't have to go through my roof?

2. Can I use it to heat my engine and my utility bay?
