It's been over 10 yrs since we had it done, but the guy that used to do it for us charged $25 each if we had him do 4 or more at a time.
Which I thought was a great price. However for no good reason I bought a regrooving tool off ebay and tried it once myself. Key word is ONCE! It looked horrible, was inconsistent in depth and took me way too long to do! (for saving $25)
Our mechanic took over the job and did quite a few after that using the tool I had already bought and it was about a wash on the $25 we were paying vs his hourly wages.

Most of us won't get to the point of wearing out tires to have regrooving. Most like myself will have tires retired because of time. I'll have to get tires soon-but my tires look just about brand new.
