Thought I'd post what I learned about the MC8 air tank placement.

The MC8 has the air tanks in different places, depending on serial and options. Most folks say the wet tank is up front between the front wheels. This is true for some. Mine is actually in the rear between the drive tires. It has a valve on the bottom.

Since I never could find it, it never got drained since buying the bus in June. It's gone about 3000 miles and when I did drain it, a small amount of clean oil came out. That was it, no water. Based on what I read that is very good.

There are two tanks up front with valves on the side. One is the dry tank and the other is parking brake tank.

The MC8 manual has 14 different diagrams of the air system for the MC8 plus 5 more air line routing diagrams.

On top of that the manual references MCI coach serial numbers. Since mine is TMC I've not found a way to cross reference the TMC serial to a MCI number.

No wonder the confusion. Thanks Don
