My first bus

Just found this picture of my first bus, 1957 Chevy skoolie with 200hp straight 6, bought it from a hippie in the early 70's, it traveled around the country & into Mexico in a caravan. It was a ragged fun first project, potbelly stove for heat, cutout sunroof with Plexiglas weather proofed with sag rug. The whole bus was hand painted american flag. This is were I got the bug. Sat in the yard for 20 years scraped it 2004.

My first bus was a 1949 Dodge schoolie. 327/4 speed. couldn't out run it's own shadow and used more oil than fuel.
