Clifford do you have regular household receptacles in boxes? Lots of rv's and conversions use the quick cutin boxes that the wire just passes through and clamps in place.
Some are called, some are sent, some just got up and went.

Do you guys think the Leviton duplex receptacles RO2-T5832-OBW with the USB chargers are worth the price or will they be out dated in the next few years.I was planning on using 4 or 5 through out the bus for Sonja's electronic gadgets but don't want to waste the time and money

you will be much happier with a few of these... ;D ... or not  :-\

One of the other things to consider, when selecting a charging source for your gadget, is how long you want your battery to last / life span. As mentioned some devices require larger power output usb power source in order to charge in a reasonable time. Charging the bigger hi current device on a smaller charger - no issue just takes longer. Do the reverse and its not so good on the battery and can lead to overheating and deterioration of the battery. Also many of the plugin chargers provided with your device have a custom tailored charging cycle / tickle to the current to prolong battery life. Just like the difference between charging conventional and deep cycle automotive battery's.
Another no no is to connect items to a charger when they don't need charged. It's easy to plug your phone in every night just to make sure its fully charged the next morning. But if it didn't need charged you are just shortening the battery life. My HP laptop is now going on 7 years old and is still on its original battery despite heavy use. But I never leave it plugged to the charger except to charge the battery. There are numerous articles on line related to do's and don'ts. Just like our big coach storage batteries, the little guys need proper care too. If you don't plan to keep a device longer than until the next better model comes out than do whatever. I usually end up keeping things longer so I take the high road on charging. Food for thought..... ;)
