Battery Fill for hard to reach batteries

I can access my batteries but it isn't easy.  I see the fill bottles are available but they won't fit without a struggle.  The little caps with hoses seem expensive.
I'm imagining a simple hose that runs from the battery cap to the jug.  But the hose needs the automatic shut off on the battery end instead of the bottle end.
Does this exist?  Should be a simple, cheap, hose with a valve and a small jug.

Any ideas?  Links?

  Hi;;
       I use a small funnel from a dollar store.  (cheap)    Then use a small water bottle
       to fill the battery.  Also use a small mirror to check the water level. Just be sure
       to use distilled water.

When I had two 8D wet batteries, the clearance was virtually impossible to fill. I made an electric pump from an old Flojet water pump. I put the suction end in the 1 gallon distilled water bottle, then with an attached switch in one hand and a small mirror in the other hand and  with the flashlight in my mouth, can fill the batteries.
Now you see why I have AGM batteries. Good Luck, TomC
