What do need with dowels everyone I know me included removes the dowels on the 6 bolt flywheels and drill ,tap and heli coil the dowel holes making it a 8 bolt flywheel directions are in the book p7 section 1

With losing 1 flywheel already I would go the 8 bolt route JMO

Repairing a clutch and manual transmission is like using a hammer and nail. Eventually, you're going to hammer one of your fingers.
Changing to the V730 is like using an air powered nail gun. Good Luck, TomC

And some people like a simple hammer and nail. . .

Scott,I didn't send a hammer or nails but the guy pick it up @ 2:30 yesterday it is headed your way  ;D you may want to remove it from the housing and have it lightly resurfaced that is your call

He wanted me give you a big thanks for the flywheel!  We got him all put back together and driving today.  The flywheel cleaned up and worked out great!

Another one in the books for Scott Crosby. Scott, I've followed the philanthropic work you do for bus nuts and I you even talked me through my low power issue on our bus on greasemonkey which turned out to be wrong micron fuel filters. You're a real blessing and help to others. Thanks for being out there and helping busnuts

And thanks to Clifford too for that flywheel.

Glad he is on the road the flywheel was nothing on my part, someone told me you couldn't make the bolts work Scott ? I don't understand why unless you tried to use regular bolts those need to be changed to the raised cap (step) style like the picture in the manual Luke knows that

They looked like the ones in the manual, and I they did work I just had to use a thinner walled socket to the them on.  Impact socket was too thick to fit and the 1/2" drive chrome one just needed the chrome ground off the outside edges to fit Inbetween the heads of the bolts.
