Anybody know much about the Xantrex SW series Inverter?

   If the house batteries it is connected to are dead, it won't come on.

    Yeah, or if a cable is disconnected, or broken (like inside a clamp or solder joint) or corroded ... whatever, the inverter has got to see battery voltage before it will come on/ begin battery charging/ etc.
