Can't get insurance

I actually read the many pages of my home and auto insurance policy once a few years ago.  There are so many loopholes with insurance that I am surprised they ever pay out even a penny.

I've thought about going to my insurance agent and having him explain some parts of the policy.  There are sections that if taken literally would mean you would almost never get a payout of any kind.
