Had been having problems with hooking up the toad wiring to the Bus. The left turn signal would come on as I plug in the 7 blade adapter down to the 4 pin. The right would blink but the left would not. Both would blink when the flashers were on. No running lights. The PO hookup a U haul controller for the electric brakes to a 20 foot car trailer for a race team in Missouri. There were 4 relays in a box at the engine bay and toned the wires but one Blue one even though it was reading 13.6 volts at the connector 7 blade couldn't figure out where it went. Until I walked up front and had my finger on the tone button and keep hearing the tone.

When I realized it was coming from under the dash. I looked up inside and there was a 5th relay that controlled the Electric Brake that was also tuck up inside the piping for the  defroster. I pulled it out and there was the blue wire. I disconnected it and went to the hitch and tested the connection again and still had 13.6 volts but now had moved to another wire and the blue one was dead. everything else now worked perfect. Got lights all of them do what they are suppose to do.

So moral to the story if you are having problems with wiring the plug check up front too or if it was a trailer and not a toad look for another relay that is not needed. ;D
