I recently helped a friend here sell his bus. He had bought the Bluebird new in 1977 and he drove it out of the BB factory. After 8 years of service as a private contract school bus, he did a conversion and used it extensively for many years.

It has sat mostly dormant for the last few years and he decided to sell it. I got involved and helped him find a new owner.
The new owner, Dan, plans to travel the country and document his adventures on the internet:

It was a bittersweet moment as Sid and I watched Dan head out on his new adventure. I think all of us who have invested time, money, blood, sweat and tears into a conversion can appreciate how hard it can be to let them go.
I have to say I am more than a little jealous of Dan and his ability to take his life in this direction. I wish him luck and hope to see the bus again. It is good to see them out on the road.
