Thats My next question? Where to buy the belts for the ac compressor and the blower drive?
MCI?

Thanks

I got mine from Luke.  As I mentioned I believe the blower belt is MCI specific, the AC belts may not be.

I got mine from NAPA, would tell you what the number is but not near it right now.

also make sure your exhaust cross pipe is not split if you have an 8V71.

Get two and always carry a spare.

Easiest is to check the valve on the air tensioner.  What was the position?

Umm, just a thought or two.... ???

When we start our Prevosts, we never high idle them until air pressure is up. The belts are tensioned via an air piston on the back of the engine. Are you losing them at startup? Is your idle set too fast?

Good luck.

The belts came off running down the hiway. I ordered the ac pair and the blower belt from MCI.
The blower belt had the number  cx112 and was around $50.00.
The original  belts were at least 15 years old.
I think the problem is an alignment issue since the orig 6v71 was replaced with a 6v92t.
Thanks
