We had a storm with about 20 minutes of high winds come through this evening.  I had some medium size branches fall across the driveway.  I had a very large branch fall on the bus.

Luckily, the main part of the branch missed the side of the bus wall by less than six inches.  The part that hit the top of the bus was just some very leafy branches.  I don't think the bus was hurt at all other than maybe a very small dent.  I got really lucky this time.  I'll try to post a picture in the morning.

Oh goodness... scary, and I hope in the morning light it remains just a close call for you!

I have lost three sheds in the last eight months to crazy weather, a tractor shed, mower shed, and my pony shed, it sucks. When I first got my bus I took a chainsaw to every tree that was within reach of it. Should have done my sheds the same way.

Here are pictures.  In the light of day it doesn't look nearly so bad as it did after the winds calmed down and it was still dark and rainy.

I don't really have the option to remove all the trees.  I have a 55 foot wide lot and the bus is only 5 feet from the property line.  The branch that fell was from a tree a good 40 feet away.
