New Parts + Fast Delivery= ME IN THE DOGHOUSE!!

A while back I bought 2 new air bags and leveling bag for the right rear corner of my 4905, and had them installed when I had the brakes adjusted.
Since then the bus leans to the left after shutdown  :'(, and I knew that I still needed bags for the left side, so I have been saving my pennies for another set.

SOOO-- I called Luke Monday (3/19) mid-morning and ordered two more bags and another leveling valve.  Before 12 noon yesterday(Tuesday 3/20)there was a box delivered to my house, which my lovely wife graciously placed in the entry hall for me to trip over when I got home.

MY ERROR was not hinting that I had ordered some parts that might come soon!  Luke is ALMOST too Good! (and western NJ is not too far from Central PA, and UPS is VERY EFFICIENT!)

Kudos to Luke and his crew at US Coach Repair----I AM IN THE DOG HOUSE AGAIN!!!! ;D ;D  ;)

I sold a load of boat fittings to a guy once, for delivery by post. When I next spoke to him he was REALLY pi**ed with me for not concealing what was in the package. Apparently he'd told is wife he had no money, and had ended up having to buy her a new kitchen to placate her after she'd discovered that he'd spent a chunk of money on his boat. I thought he was joking when he told me all this, but he was deadly serious. Still boggles my mind.

A shameless plug for my business - visit www.magazineexchange.co.uk for back issue magazines - thousands of titles covering cars, motorbikes, aircraft, railways, boats, modelling etc. You'll find lots of interest, although not much covering American buses sadly.

;D ;D  I'm not really in the Dog House, CUZ I finished the renovating the 3rd bathroom since moving in, and finished remodling the back porch!

My wife is really a saint for tolerating me, considering the bus addiction, and the time spent away with work and that part-time military job that takes one weekend a month minimum.

She just want the bus done, so we can start using it! :)

Been there and DONE that.
Kind of like we bought a bus on EBAY for a good price. Try selling that one.

Don't wait til it's finished, just make it safe and comfortable an start using it! ;)

You can use it as a "tin-tent" while you "finish" it.

We have already had it out, unfortunately when it is a "tin tent" and the temp outside is 30 degrees F, and you have only one 1500 watt cube heater---it is not a pleasant experience!  We survived, but wife said it would be nice to be more prepared next time.

It will never be finished, as I am on the 25 year plan and only on Phase 1 of a 3 Phase plan.  My ultimate goal is to be able to "dry camp" for 2 weeks at a time, so I have a long way to go!

Jriddle--I did have 2 busses at one time-- and scrapped the transit-10 yrs ago.  I could probably get at least 1K for it now.

I will be working on it every day now that winter seems to be over, and I am kinda committed to a rally mid-May in NC.
