Led power draw from battery?

Got led strip final instal in trays today!  After conservations was a little concerned about brightness.  64ft worked out perfect.  Not to bright just rite on full!  Dimmed down makes nice indirect lighting. I had selected 300 per 16ft in the beginning instead of 600 ,which is standard.  and cool white instead of  bright white    3000 range instead of 5000 range.   so paid off.  Life is good.  or just blind luck!    Bob

Is there a way you could put an ammeter in the line to measure the draw? Maybe then you could calculate how long your batteries would last.
