We finally got the bus running after installing new radiators and fuel lines.  Also got her moved, now I have to pick up the mess from tearing everything out. LOL

There has been a lot of discussion here about priming and some very interesting methods were offered.  The drill on the fuel pump worked great on the mc5, but it did not work so well on the mc9.  While he was doing it I told him there were some other methods discussed on this forum, but for the life of me could not remember just what they were.  The only one I remembered was N.J.Transit buses had an electric pump on the line just after the fuel tank, but that was not going to help us any.  Call it a senior moment, but I don't think I am old enough to qualify, yet.  The drill method would only prime the system from the bulk head back out of a bucket, once the line was hooked up to the bulk head it could not pull fuel out of the tank.  We ended up hooking up a hand pump meant for pumping out of a 55 gallon drum, I am sure you know the type.  That worked fast, about a dozen revolutions on the crank and we were primed. I don't know why the drill would work on the 5 and not the 9, sorry the video was a little misleading, we should have explained it better.  To bad we didn't get the hand pump on film, that worked much better.  I guess it's time to start printing out threads rather than rely on memory.  ???
