I received my settlement check from National Interstate Insurance Company yesterday and all is great.  They totaled the coach due to fire, smoke and water damage.  I had agreed value coverage and there was no hesitation on their part about paying the agreed value.

Anyone with an Eagle I have a few things to get rid of:  Lenses such as Brake, Tail Light, Front and Rear Marker Light covers, Chrome Molding around passenger side entrance door.  A couple fuel filters, Oil filters Transmission filter, air filter about 15 gallons Rotella T 40wt oil.  Anyone coming through Louisville KY contact me for a real deal.

I will try and find who the Insurance Company sells this coach to as it has new tires, DD6V92TA Engine, Allison 740 Tranny both with about 150000 miles, Good suspension and new shocks, Wrico 10KW generator about 450hrs.

Thanks to everyone on these boards for all of the great advice that I have received over the years.

Thanks Cliff I doubt if I will buy another one with the wife's situation and at the age of 73 it would be a big challenge to build another one.  This may have been a blessing in disguise.

Again thanks Cliff.

"I will try and find who the Insurance Company sells this coach to. . ."

Dunno about your state, but at one time here in CA, when a salvaged vehicle is auctioned, the registered owner who suffered the loss was allowed to purchase back the vehicle for $1 over the highest bidder.

They should allow you to buy it back before it ever leaves your property.

What state are you in?

I doubt National will sell it without dealers a license I buy some from National from time to time and they take sealed bids only with a dealers license relieves them from any type liability fwiw
