Now this is what I need to get up top of the bus and work on it.  They are going for about 90 bucks a piece right now with only 1 bidder.

I've spent a lot of time recently trying to work out whether I've got enough space inside my bus to build a staircase (rather than a ladder) to get to the roof patio. It did occur to me briefly that what I really need is a lift (elevator) inside the bus. I'm now trying very hard to forget that I had that thought...a crazy idea, and so much work. But still...

I will stick with my fork lift ;D

As I very seldom ever get on the roof I will stick to a ladder.  I could build a platform at the rear of the bus barn to make it easier to go from the ladder to the bus.  That would not be expensive and a whole lot safer.  Did I mention I don't like heights anyway.

Now that's a handy device. If I just had a shop to put it in.

over $500 each now.  still a deal if i needed to climb on a lot of roofs.  as it is, i'll keep my telescoping ladder.  gettin harder to carry antennas up a ladder each year, though.

ooops!  just noticed 1 bidder for $500 for all 6 of them.  what a deal?  those things must have been a few thousand apiece originally.

even though no guarantee, too bad they couldn't at least tell you if all fo them work or not.  might have upped the bids a little.

So, if you bolted to the side of your bus you could use it as an elevator to a roof deck.
If you don't have a roof deck it could be an observation platform...

Maybe you could cannibalize it and use it for a slide out mechanism...
OR, mount one at each end of the bus and have it raise the roof for a Slide Up
