Any of you guys ever stay at Habortown RV Resort in Monroe MI we have a change of plans my doc has asked me to deliver a bus he sold so we are going to be there from Aug 15 through the 21st during the Woodward Dream Cruise and the Prevost Proud Rally.
What do I need to expect from the Woodward Dream Cruise sounds fun I love old cars.
I do know what to expect from the Prevost Rally lol we would like to meet some of you in that area as we don't go to that area often been 20 years for us looking forward to the trip

I have been to the cruise a few times. It has been a long time tho.

Everyone just sits in there lawn chairs along woodward avenue or street and watchs the cars go by.  There is a few places where the big three will have prototype cars sitting out on display.

You can expect to see everything from exotic cars to retired nascar cars driving down the road.

O and even the cops will be doing burn outs lol ;D

You should stop at the back to the bricks rally while you are in the area it is both close to that spot and timeframe.

I have some work to do on a previously opporated entertainer coach by Senators that a friend purchased in Gran Rapids. I think I may use it to go to the rally there will be  plenty of extra bunks if you drop your friends bus off beforehand and need a place to lay your head.
Signing off from Cook County Ill. where the dead vote, frequently.

Nice offer from Joe.

The "Back to the Bricks" bus rally  (August 18-21) is associated with the car show in downtown Flint, MI.   Where the Dream Cruise is mostly moving vehicles down Woodward, "Back to the Bricks" is a large car show in the city where GM and the UAW started.    There are many meticulously built cars.   Many of them were built by individuals who worked in the GM prototype shops as fabricators, body men, machinists, show car painters, engine builder, racers, etc.

The car show continues to increase in popularity.   The Flint area has many attractions that weekend and there will be 20-30 bus conversions at our rally.

If you or anyone in the area has an interest, email me for additional information.
