I had similar problem with my ac last night but it was rain pouring in the middle of our bed at 1:30 am.   


Have you took your covers off of the units yet?   Mine has spots on it from the factory that have "pudding" on them to keep it from draining into the vent area. The puddy is probably just cracked or fell off.
